Rob Batchelder

Rob has earned a M.A. Degree from the University of Maryland in Real Estate Development and graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. Degree in Internet Marketing. Before starting his formal education, Rob played professional Soccer (Livorno Reserves) in Florence, Italy. While attending university, Rob created a successful website, MySoccerMedia.com that received nearly 100,000 hits a day from almost every developed country worldwide. After his internet ventures, Rob began his professional career at Infinity Group Real Estate Services by working in the international real estate field.  He was instrumental in successfully negotiating for investors’ multiple real estate units in order to gain a better price and establishing real estate holding companies for foreign investors. After starting his career in the international real estate field, he moved into international renewable energy development, helping international, as well as national clients to acquire funding for large scale industrial energy projects in Eastern Europe. His interpersonal skills and abilities have proven invaluable at the negotiation table. His knowledge and creativity in the art of deal structuring have been critical in the structuring of various transactions. He has a wide range of knowledge in the field of green and renewable energy, as well as traditional real estate development.  Rob is also the Founder of Chefscape Kitchen, a co-working food incubator with two locations in Norther Virginia and sits on the Board of Directors for Creative Dance Center inc.  Rob’s experiences in high level collegiate and professional athletics has also helped shape his competitiveness, work ethic, drive and, ultimately, success in the business world.

Soheil Zadegan

Soheil is a seasoned executive with a diverse background of business and financial experience and a track record of success. Soheil is responsible for coordination of due diligence and feasibility assessment of equity investments. Prior to founding OKZ Holdings LLC, from 2000 through 2010 Soheil was the CEO of MultiTrans AG, an international forwarding and logistic group based out of Bavaria/Germany. Soheil’s experience in the logistic industry began in France, in 1997. The journey continued through Germany and Switzerland. Since 2010, Soheil has been acting as a board member at MultiTrans AG and has had a direct involvement in the management and expansion of the group throughout the US, Middle East and Central Asia. Soheil holds a BA from the University of Maryland, Major in Political Science / Minor in Business Administration, and is fluent in 5 languages.

Douglas M. Thompson, CFA

Mr. Thompson has been actively involved in the commercial real estate industry for thirty years, with a focus on land and vertical development, property and loan valuation & due diligence, property acquisitions and asset management, as well as capital raising for new development and acquisition of existing assets.  Mr. Thompson’s experience includes nearly all geographic regions and property types, including single-family residential, multi-family, student housing, seniors housing, hospitality and, net leased and specialty assets.  His entrepreneurial style has facilitated him founding numerous company’s and partnerships all intended to exploit specific niches within the commercial and residential real estate industry.  He is a frequent author of articles relating to the commercial real estate business and panel speaker at various industry conferences.

Mr. Thompson is a graduate of Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Mr. Thompson is also Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Josh Dworken

Mr. Dworken is the Managing Director of Horizon Hill Holdings (“H3”), a privately-owned, fully integrated real estate development and investment firm, focused on affordable & market rate initiatives with the objective of improving the quality of families and communities through investment in affordable housing.  H3 takes a flexible and creative approach to venture structuring and project finance, providing development services for their own investment properties, as well as for discerning third-party clients under a variety of structures.  Mr. Dworken oversees the formulation and execution of the group’s investment strategy and is committed to providing the highest level of quality, service and value to his clients and capital partners.   H3 is proud to have maintained long-standing relationships with their investment partners, including major public and private pension funds, national and community banks, private equity, foundations, family investment funds and individual investors.  Prior to founding H3 in 2010, Mr. Dworken served as a Principal of JDJ Investments, a real estate development and construction firm in Washington DC.

Mr. Dworken holds a BA in Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University.
